Am I making sense to you all? Your help is great and I do thank you. If we can fix this issue re: version 7 over a short time fine, I'll do the register code thing with version 6, but I don't want to complicate all this by doing 6 if I paid for 7.
So now my question is (to avoid hassles with paymemnts charge backs and so on Do I go ahead with the version 6 code that Phil has sent me or do I need to download the whole version 7 and more or less start from scratch? Also how's that going to affect the work I've already started in version 6? I don't have a super computer and hard drive space is going to get small if I keep downloading large file size DAW stuff. So I paid for version 7 and the download code isn't working. I downloaded the free version 6, and rather than clog up my hard drive I thought I could just download. See the company kind of pulled a switch thing here. Can someone please either forward to IT or whoever, as I've checked and re checked everything on my end.
I really need to get this software up and running. Since the trial version is over I cannot master down, or convert to wav or mp3 for submission. They don't even require radio ready as they want to use their own inhouse Nashville pros for the arrangements, but I need to get this material to them and quickly. I also have several direct producers intersested in original music from me. I work two jobs, and run online business. I have been emailing a tech support guy named Phil all afternoon begging for help. Even checked to make sure I wasn't confusing the number "one" for the Letter "I" The software window for registering mixcraft is rejecting the id code every single time. I have now spent the entire afternoon re typing in the id code over and over again. Was sent receipt of payment info with registration id and code. I paid via debit card for the mixcraft 7 version (won't go into that one here) and confirmed all payment from my bank. Could not buy registration code till today due to outside issues dealing with my job's incompetent Payroll Dept. I downloaded the free trial of mixcraft 6 about three weeks ago.
